Improving and Expanding Support for Veterans’ Clinical Needs: TLI Partners with Bacik Group to Roll-out Enhanced Health Services

U.S. veterans represent a special population of men and women who have served their country but too often face challenging health risks during their deployments. Because many veterans have experienced combat, veterans with service-connected health issues are a clinically complex and potentially vulnerable population.

With a mission to play a role in helping meet these healthcare needs, the Thought Leadership & Innovation Foundation (TLI) is partnering with Bacik Group, LLC (Bacik), a leader in staff augmentation and program management within the Department of Defense (DoD) and civilian sector to form a joint venture called BACIK TLI JV LLC.

This collaboration is intended to develop a health services support organization that extends greater service to U.S. military veterans across the Veterans Affairs (VA), the DoD and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Complementary Strengths

Our management support to the Mayo Clinic in support of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development’s Limb Loss and Preservation Registry (LLPR), the first national registry of its kind, is an ideal complement to Bacik’s experience and participation on the registry’s advisory panel.

This joint venture combines each organization’s unique backgrounds, skillsets and expertise, and will draw upon the extensive TLI track record of working with DoD, the VHA and HHS to find innovative ways to deal with complex challenges in healthcare.

Bacik chose TLI with the aim of greatly augmenting its health-focused business, generating greater support for their initiative in health and innovation services and advancing the readiness, resilience and quality care of service members and their beneficiaries.
